Client PC Recommendations

A user's client machine does not need to have any special software loaded on the PC for accessing FileBound. To view documents on the PC using the full document viewer the FileBound Viewer Launcher application needs to be loaded on the PC. In normal operating situations this is automatically installed the first time a user tries to view a document or access the FileBound Central Administration.

Following are the minimum PC requirements for operating FileBound. These are NOT server requirements.

  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional
  • All Microsoft Windows Vista Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Windows 7 (32 bit and 64 bit)
ClosedMinimum Supported Screen Resolution
  • 1024 x 768 pixels
ClosedSupported Internet Browsers
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer - Ver. 8 up to Ver. 10 (No support for running compatibility view)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Opera
  • Google Chrome
  • Apple Safari (Web Viewer only)
ClosedProcessor:
  • Minimum: 1Ghz; Recommended: 2 Ghz
ClosedRAM:
  • Minimum: 512MB; Recommended: 1GB
ClosedOther Requirements
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Extended
