Overview
• Payschool wanted an easy to use web & mobile application to enable parents to select/plan and pay for their kids’ school-lunch, stationaries, tuition fees, school activity-charges etc.• They wanted to provide schools an admin login features to help them add/edit lunch menus, stationaries and other payments in school. Their objective was to help schools connect with the parents directly in an easy and safe way omitting any kind of paper work. They required a clean and crisp visual design to support the functionalities
Overview
Payschool were looking to build an easy to use web and mobile application to enable parents to select/plan and pay for school products and services (tuition fees, school lunches, excursions, after school care and activities, etc.) via an online ordering and payment gateway using a credit card.
They also wanted to provide schools with admin login features to help them add/edit these functions.
Approach
Our approach was to research and decide on all the interaction points and cover all the possible scenarios. We designed different interactions to achieve the same functionalities for mobile. This helped us to overcome the problem of showcasing the same information in a smaller size.
Result
A simple, intuitive and user friendly interface that was developed considering different user groups with ease-of-use being the focus.
Parents can now easily select, plan and order lunch items. Timely reminders for school activities, giving school events consent and school related products shopping.
The school is able to easily add a child, implement orders and compare reports.
And ecommerce workflows are a breeze for administrators.
