The requirement was to create a media handler app for DLNA server. The application could control digital media in terms of scheduling, sequence, duration and other programming aspects through a tablet device. The device would have a built-in jukebox player, which controls albums, music and stations through an integrated interface.

The requirement was to create a media handler app for DLNA server. The application could control digital media in terms of scheduling, sequence, duration and other programming aspects through a tablet device. The device would have a built-in jukebox player, which controls albums, music and stations through an integrated interface.

Overview
- The requirement was to create a media handler app for DLNA server. The application could control digital media in terms of scheduling, sequence, duration and other programming aspects through a tablet device. The device would have a built-in jukebox player, which controls albums, music and stations through an integrated interface.
Approach
- After a detailed requirement understanding phase. We came up with an interface which had a split view to show selected songs from the server (on the left hand side) & Map those songs to the renderers (on the right hand side).
Result
The split view interface gave a full view of the actions the user needs to perform on the screen. Drag and drop interaction made the application fun & easy to use. Intuitive and touch based interactions were introduced for easy and engaging user experience.
