Prisma is a free app that transforms your favorite photo into spectacular photo-art. No technical or editing knowledge is required, just a tap on the layer and your art is created. To use Prisma, you need an iPhone or an Android phone and a picture.
Once you select a picture, rotate and crop the picture, and then apply the layer. Prisma uses a mix of neural networks, artificial intelligence, and cloud-based machines to apply a range of filter effects, which mimic the styles of artists.
The app offers more than 30 styles, including those of artists such as Picasso, Munk, Levitan, and Van Gogh, and world famous ornaments and patterns. One of the unique features of Prisma is that it transforms ordinary photos into artistic creations. However, it does not replace full-featured photo editing apps such as Instagram, Editors' Choices, and PicsArt. Prisma works like a filter app, providing numerous unique filters. The app uses sensory networks and artificial intelligence to analyze the image and provide a complicated design, unlike what other ordinary filter apps can do. It seems like Prisma strikes a balance between the user-friendly Instagram and Google’s algorithm.

This is how Prisma works. Take a picture or select an existing one and crop it. Once you select the picture, the app will work its magic for a few seconds and you will see your masterpiece completed. It is easy to fine-tune the image by sliding your finger horizontally across the image. This changes the intensity of the edits. However, since its launch on Android, Prisma has become less enticing, because it takes more time to apply the filters. Hope this issue will be resolved soon. But apart from these minor glitches, it is still a fantastic app.
